Baked chicken legs with slow cooker rice

ingredients


  • 1.5 pounds of chicken legs ((4 pieces))
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons of poultry seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 cups of jasmine rice
  • 3 1/2 cups broth

Instructions




  • Olive oil and butter in a gold multicooker pan
  • Mix the seasonings
  • Place the chicken, skin down, in the hot pan and sear until golden and crisp, 3-4 minutes.
  • Flip and repeat

  • Transfer to the slow cooker with the cooking juices
  • Add chicken broth and cover and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  • Remove the chicken and stir the rice
