The best fried chicken recipe
It's the best baked chicken recipe! It comes out crispy from the oven, is much less fat and gives a lean chicken breast. It's a bit like KFC, but cooked instead of fried! Includes a video of recipes step by step.

It's the best baked chicken recipe! It comes out crispy from the oven, is much less fat and gives a lean chicken breast. It's a bit like KFC, but cooked instead of fried! Includes a video of recipes step by step.
ingredients
- 3-4 chicken breasts about 1 lb, cut into strips (I have about 3 breasts)
- 4-5 c. At a table of melted butter
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 C. Seasoning Salt I use Lawry's
- 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
- 2 tablespoons. With paprika
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Place a large piece of parchment paper on the rimmed baking sheet (10x15x1 ") and brush the butter (there will be some extra butter, but you'll need it to crisp) the coating !)
- * NOTE: If you work with fresh chicken breasts, let them soak 15-30 minutes in milk or buttermilk before coating. This will help the coating to stick. I use frozen chicken breasts and thawed, so they are already very wet outside.
- Combine all ingredients except chicken and butter in a large paper bag or ziploc bag. Add the chicken and shake to coat.
- OPTION: For crisp two-ply taste - simply add dunk-covered chicken in a little buttermilk, then roll into the flour mixture. You will need an additional coating mix for this step.
- Place your chicken on the prepared baking sheet leaving a gap between each band. Bake 10 minutes, flip gently with a pair of tongs and cook another 10 minutes.
- Be sure to check that your chicken is cooked (165 ° F) because its thickness can greatly affect cooking time. You want it to be done but not too much and dry. Cook another 4-5 minutes if necessary.
- Remove them on a plate covered with a paper towel to absorb excess fat. Serve immediately. To keep warm until serving, place on a rack on a baking sheet at 225 degrees Fahrenheit.
