Balsamic Chicken Stove

This balsamic chicken pan recipe includes a tasty balsamic marinade, perfectly seasoned potatoes and vegetables of your choice. All you need is a frying pan and you're about to dine!



ingredients

  • 1 large chicken breast
  • 1 cup red baby potatoes cleaned and dried
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt / pepper to taste
  • Balsamic marinade
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1/3 cup of balsamic vinegar
  • 1/3 cup of olive oil
  • ½ cup finely diced onion (optional)
  • Potato Seasoning
  • 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of rosemary
  • ¾ teaspoons of oregano
  • ¾ teaspoons of thyme
  • ¾ teaspoons wise
  • 1/8 teaspoons of nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon of pepper


Instructions

  • Marinate the chicken:
  • Butter the chicken to create two thinner pieces of equal size. Season with the desired amount of salt and pepper.
  • Combine the ingredients of the balsamic marinade in a freezer bag and add the chicken. Seal the air and let it marinate for 30 minutes or more in the refrigerator.

  • Season the potatoes:
  • Slice the potatoes into pieces no larger than ½ inch thick. I like to cut the round end so that the potatoes can sit flat in the pan.
