Balsamic Chicken Stove
This balsamic chicken pan recipe includes a tasty balsamic marinade, perfectly seasoned potatoes and vegetables of your choice. All you need is a frying pan and you're about to dine!
ingredients
- 1 large chicken breast
- 1 cup red baby potatoes cleaned and dried
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt / pepper to taste
- Balsamic marinade
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1/3 cup of balsamic vinegar
- 1/3 cup of olive oil
- ½ cup finely diced onion (optional)
- Potato Seasoning
- 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of rosemary
- ¾ teaspoons of oregano
- ¾ teaspoons of thyme
- ¾ teaspoons wise
- 1/8 teaspoons of nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/8 teaspoon of pepper
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken:
- Butter the chicken to create two thinner pieces of equal size. Season with the desired amount of salt and pepper.
- Combine the ingredients of the balsamic marinade in a freezer bag and add the chicken. Seal the air and let it marinate for 30 minutes or more in the refrigerator.
- Season the potatoes:
- Slice the potatoes into pieces no larger than ½ inch thick. I like to cut the round end so that the potatoes can sit flat in the pan.
